Look alive, cinephiles- Today we are coming at you with a very exciting announcement. We are so proud to introduce you to our YORCK SPOTLIGHTS – films that are being screened solely at Yorck Cinemas in Berlin and at our siblings at City Kinos Munich.

Too often, films we'd have loved to screen end up going straight to streaming in . With our initial SPOTLIGHTS, we are proud to bring you three incredible theatrical experiences throughout this spring and early summer.
 
The very first one being the horror-comedy mix DEATH OF A UNICORN, starring Jenna Ortega, Paul Rudd, William Poulter and Richard E. Grant. Having celebrated its World Premiere at the SXSW Festival earlier this year, we cannot wait to bring this monster-slasher-meets-social-satire directly to you. You can already get your tickets for the Creepy Crypt Preview on April 26 now, before the full unicorn gallops into our cinemas on May 1.
 
Following on June 5, we have the reimagining of the Ang Lee classic THE WEDDING BANQUET. This queer rom com stars such favorites as Bowen Yang and Lily Gladstone and has topics like chosen family, navigating cultural identity, queerness, and expectations of one's relatives at its core. We absolutely think so, honey!
 
Closing out this initial triptych on June 19, Naomi Watts and Bill Murray star in THE FRIEND. Based on the bestselling novel by Sigrid Nunez, this is a beautiful New York story about grief, friendship, healing and a Great Dane.
