I was unsure if Ryan Coogler would be able to top “Fruitevale Station” but then he makes “Sinners” the directing and storytelling are on such a high level! ”Nosferatu” is one of the best remakes of all time! It pays homage to the original but at the same time updates it puts its own mark on it. The cinematography is horrific beauty. It plays with shadow in a way we don’t see anymore and refers to some of the classic scenes from the 1922 original. It somehow even made me appreciate the original even more.
