Fire Maidens of Outer Space

1956

½ Watched

Despite it being heralded as “SCIENCE-FICTION’S GREATEST THRILL!” in the movie’s tagline, you can assume pretty accurately the quality of the motion picture you’re getting simply by seeing the title “Fire Maidens of Outer Space”. Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the most uneven films I’ve seen in a very long time. I don’t think that will matter for most of its audience. Unfortunately for me, all the conflicting aspects of the film left me with an experience I’m also really conflicted about.

I am a comic book fan who used to pick up issues every Wednesday & I’ve also seen every film in the MCU. On the surface, I should be in the core demographic for…
