The message of "You can be more than what's expected of you" is common throughout good robot films, and this one truly is great. This film fully feels like it released in the 50s with how well it captures the era, the Red Scare effect is presented clearly and well. I am a sucker for robot films where the robot learns to be human because it makes me realize what it truly means to be human and that the emotions we feel are special. This film has a great heart paired with a goofy sense of humor and I really enjoy it.
