What surprised me most was how much I actually cared about the characters. Ethan Hunt wasn’t just saving the world—he was trying to protect someone he loved, which made the action feel more personal and meaningful.
I also liked that we never find out what the Rabbit’s Foot is. It made the mission feel more grounded—sometimes spies just have to get the thing, no questions asked.
Philip Seymour Hoffman was a standout. Calm, creepy, and totally believable. No over-the-top villain stuff—just quiet menace that really worked.
