Final Destination 3

2006

★★½ 3

Final Destination 3 features some actors I'm familiar with, such as Mary Elizabeth Winstead and TEXAS BATTLE (whom I recognize from Dragonball Evolution). It features the same premise as before, but with gorier kills. To my disappointment, this installment doesn't do anything to refresh the formula. It's essentially the same movie as the previous two. 2003

★★½ Watched

2000

★★★ 1

On the surface, it looks like one of those cheap horror slops solely made to…

Nosferatu

2024

★★★★ 1

Robert Eggers is one of my favorite rising directors whose craftsmanship stands out in the industry. He knows how to make a film atmospheric and brooding, all enhanced by his dedication to historical immersion. So I was simultaneously surprised and not surprised that his next project would be the second remake of F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu, which in turn is an unauthorized adaptation of Dracula. I will say that Eggers certainly met expectations.

As always, the atmosphere he builds is immaculate,…
