The first half at least had the fun of putting the team together on all these weird sci-fi worlds with funky aliens and gadgets. This one is just a feature-length battle scene, rendered even more plodding and monotonous by Snyder’s endless slo-mo photography. It is a literal snooze; it took me three tries to get through it because all the painterly violence kept putting me to sleep. At least the Scargiver gives the hell out of those scars.
