Was curious to see if my reaction to Rogue One had changed (see previously and previously for more substantive thoughts), but other than increased sympathy for Felicity Jones (who’s trying to play two, maybe three different drafts of the same character simultaneously) not much changed for me this time.

This was my obligatory post-Andor rewatch, and I was immediately reminded why I was so skeptical of an Andor show to begin with: Rogue One is unable to escape the gravity…

Just a random variety-show TV episode from the 50s, but worth it if you've never seen the planned anarchy of Costello's fourth-wall breaks interacting with a live audience. His gleefully malevolent toddler energy as the slapstick hits a little bit harder than you might expect is wild and a little unnerving.
