Spaceman Chris’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a really solid conclusion to this particular story. They were smart easing us into the world with the first movie because there's a lot of talk of prophecy and holy wars here that could feel overwhelming otherwise.
There's a really nice balance of action and introspection, and while I feel that Paul's arc is rushed, they do a pretty decent job of adapting the book into these two films.
I love the cast, I am completely biased when it comes to Timmy but I thought he was great, but Rebecca Ferguson was the real standout to me.
As I suspected having the full story now gives me a new appreciation for the first film and I can see my rating for both going up when I watch them together.
4.5 stars for now, but there's a decent chance I'll bump this up to 5 before the end of the week.
