This is a nice return to form after the lacklustre "Final Destination 4", or "THE Final Destination" as it insists on calling itself.
While we get the usual over-the-top carnage at the start of the film, only for it to flash back moments earlier to allow some people to survive, and the usual intricate deaths throughout the film it also introduces a couple of new plot points that haven't been used before.
