It’s still the best Home Alone film and one of the best Christmas movies in general. Repeats a lot of the same beats as the first but I’ll be damned if this film isn’t insanely more fun then the first. Both are great but this one has always been my preferred watch.
A monumental achievement from James Cameron, one of the better blockbuster films of the past few years. The Avatar franchise may go down as certainly one of the biggest, but best blockbuster franchises of all time. The wait for this was absolutely worth it, and I feel Avatar 3 will be worth it as well.
Got to see this in Dolby for the 20th anniversary, and this has to be up there for one of my favorite theater experiences ever. The entire theater was laughing at nearly every bit (as was I), it’s actually so impressive how much better this gets with every watch. One of my all time favorite comedies, never fails to make my day better.
Somehow, Denis manages to not only top his first film centered in this universe, but improve on it in most ways. The stakes are raised, the tensions are palpable, and everything comes together so incredibly well. It’s not considered a horror film, but I would be lying if I said that this wasn’t one of the scariest films I’ve seen to date. Unsettling and disturbing are two words that are consistently brought up when discussing Cure, and for good reason. A mesmerizing, deeply disturbing feature that eats away at the viewers spirit. A wildly incredible psychological thriller that’s unlike most other films in its field. Cure is a masterful film that has not left my memory since viewing it.

One of the best (if not the best) comedies of the past few years. It never fails to make me laugh consistently and want to show it to everyone I know. The Lonely Island have produced some of the best comedic content of the past 10+ years and this film is a prime example of that.

The quintessential action film in the quintessential action franchise. A compelling and thrilling narrative, mixed with some of the greatest action sequences put to film, and brilliant direction combine to create an all time action movie classic.
