Finally showed my friends one of greatest comedies we have.

Has absolutely so much going for it, by far one of the coolest animated sequels out there. Falters with some moments in its third act, but those first two blew my expectations out of the water. I wish I felt a bit stronger about this, especially after viewing, but it’s still real solid.
(Andy Samberg as Ben Reilly was the greatest thing ever btw.)
The Evil Dead franchise has stood the test of time, and yet again it has delivered a very fun horror film to add to its already impressive catalog.
Messy as fuck but I really vibed with this in moments, easily Asters most divisive feature yet. A nightmarish odyssey of mommy issues and sexual negligence, 3 hours of an ever changing narrative that purposely wants to confuse. First hour is easily the strongest, very funny in moments and Joaquin really sells it. The longer it goes I think the worse it gets but it ends strong enough. Tough one to properly review, my biggest critique is that they got rid of the original title…
It works, definitely a time capsule of this era of Rogan/Franco comedies which aren’t exactly my thing, but seeing Michael Cera get slapped by Rihanna is enough for me.
A genuine masterpiece, one of the best action films of all time, and easily one of the best of the entire year. Everything it needed to be and more. The quintessential action film in the quintessential action franchise. A compelling and thrilling narrative, mixed with some of the greatest action sequences put to film, and brilliant direction combine to create an all time action movie classic.
