Nothing too groundbreaking, but has so much fun with its insanely over the top concepts and gory kills. Wooden performances and its pacing halts this at times. However, this film has its moments where it fucking rips, a new slasher franchise may be upon us 👀

One of the best (if not the best) comedies of the past few years. It never fails to make me laugh consistently and want to show it to everyone I know. The Lonely Island have produced some of the best comedic content of the past 10+ years and this film is a prime example of that.
Hard watch, incredibly disturbing; potentially had the chance to be so much greater. Decent enough, but it’s missing something, not sure what that something is but it feels pretty directionless at points. It almost gets to lost in the violence and shock factor that it forgets to continue the narrative competently.

This has some love for its characters and good humor but it’s held back by some obvious flaws. For one the villains here are hilariously generic, and the script definitely has some questionable moments. The humor and consistent heart this film carries is able to propel it forward to some positives, but overall just super meh.
TMNT: Mutant Mayhem is a genuine delight and an incredible time at the movies. This movie combines gorgeous animation with a strong set of characters to create a truly great rendition of these beloved characters. The dynamic between our four lead characters is so much fun and they create such a great bond as soon as they’re introduced. It’s got some real rough edges in its story and dialogue at times, but it’s kinda hard to deny how enjoyable this is.
So rad!! I used to adore the Racka Racka twins content so to see them create something for the big screen is incredible! And at that, this is super good! Gnarly as hell and quite horrific, has one of the cooler third acts in a horror that I’ve seen in a while, total blast!
