Whoopi deserved that Oscar. One of the greatest wins of all time, imo

I don't understand the stakes of anything. Maybe I am just ill-informed, but isn't wrestling all fake? So winning heavy weight champion is not up to talent of wrestling, but plotting by the writers/creators?

I feel like it did not focus enough on how this father essentially murdered his children and was so fucking toxic. And the mother did nothing to stop it either, or at least that's how it's portrayed in this with one dimensional characters. One of the most infuriating experiences in the cinema all year.

Some nice camera work/cinematography, and some nice performances from the guys.

I'm campaigning for President of the Emerald Fennell fanclub. That woman is a sick fuck, and I can't get enough of it.

Every shot stunning. The one of Jacob having sex in his dorm as the camera pans to the dark window and you just see the glow from Barry's cigarette made me audibly say "Wow".

I can't wait to see what Fennell does next.
