Nonton ini dulu sebelum nonton versi 2025-nya. Ini film cerdas banget dari segi penulisannya, baik penulisan naskah maupun penulisan lirik lagunya itself. Naskahnya nggak cuma kocak pas scene komedi, beberapa scene drama juga bisa unintentionally jadi kocak wkwkwk. 19 years have ed dan somehow jokenya nggak basi-basi amat. Masih banyak yang bisa bikin ngakak brutal. Penulisan lirik lagunya pun nggak hanya bikin badan pengen bergoyang, tapi juga membuat penonton ngerenungin kritik sosial masyarakat kelas bawah yang terkandung di dalamnya.

Havoc ini punya cerita yang kurang engaging dan bagaimana dia berjalan pun kerasa lumayan draggy... Of course yang bikin betah nonton (dan bisa bikin ngasih rating 4 LOL) adalah action sequence-nya, walau emang ga se-brutal dan gaakan bisa se-revolusioner duology The Raid.

I don’t give a fuck about all of the over-the-top scenes. If I have been blessed by Shawn’s angel voice; laughed so hard at the jokes; and even nearly sobbed on its little drama aspect (I feel you, Josh, I have also ever been friendless for 1 year when I was a teenager—unfortunately there’s no lonely crocodile came through my roof lol); I’ll give it high stars!

Heartwarming, tapi fiksinisasi istrinya rada terkesan playing victim sih. Coba riset tentang tokoh aslinya, justru Chris yang selingkuh sampe beranak. Sedangkan di film? Ya untungnya difiksiin, jadi bisa kasih rating bagus.

Kinda jumpy in some parts, but it pays off with the thrilling tension in the third act a.k.a the escaping scene

Laugh uncontrollably at the first act, and then got a lil bit bored on the second act. I like that ending tho, so unexpected, and broke that goddamn door of morality—but yeah, that’s the example of how wild 2000s romcom could be. It’s wild and of course over-the-top, but don’t ever ask why. Just enjoy it.

Bertahun2 kemudian, nemu ini di beranda netflix gue dan lgsg gas nonton, karena as I belum pernah nonton versi filmnya tp gatau ya maybe pernah tp lupa atau memang gapernah samsek. Well, kualitas animasinya di beberapa scene sih memang b aja dan nggak mulus (kalau dibilang “buruk” agak exaggerating soalnya). TMNT berjalan dengan cukup draggy, tapi at least ter-payoff lah sama final battlenya
