The cinematography is top-notch! The same shout-out I give to the scoring, that’s giving a vibe like a horror film although it’s not. Glad to know that both aspects are leading the way for this film to win in that category at the 95th Oscar.

A unique war-biographical film that tells the story from the POV of a real-life pacifist and devout Christian, Desmond Doss. The Christian element increases this film’s uniqueness because it gives a perfect universal moral lesson about peace.

Mencoba mengupas sejauh mana manusia dapat mempertahankan kompas moralnya ketika memutuskan untuk menabuh genderang perang. Namun, eksekusinya terlalu lambat dan terlalu banyak memasukkan drama tarik ulur berbelit-belit yang tak penting, sehingga malah bikin geregetan dan misuh-misuh sepanjang nonton, LOL
At least bisa dikasih 3 karena endingnya sedikit di luar dugaan.
