Kinda confusing in the 1st act, because there are lot of characters 🫣 But it ended wholesomely... so cute?!?! My lonely soul is shaking rn 🥲

If I have been blessed by Shawn’s angel voice; laughed so hard at the jokes; and even nearly sobbed on its little drama aspect (I feel you, Josh, I have also ever been friendless for 1 year when I was a teenager—unfortunately there’s no lonely crocodile came through my roof lol); I’ll give it high stars!

Bertahun2 kemudian, nemu ini di beranda netflix gue dan lgsg gas nonton, karena as I belum pernah nonton versi filmnya tp gatau ya maybe pernah tp lupa atau memang gapernah samsek. Well, kualitas animasinya di beberapa scene sih memang b aja dan nggak mulus (kalau dibilang “buruk” agak exaggerating soalnya). TMNT berjalan dengan cukup draggy, tapi at least ter-payoff lah sama final battlenya

Jokesnya garing, bukan yang bisa bikin ketawa menggelegar. Ceritanya terlalu ke mana mana, bukannya fokus ke world-building emoji aja deh... Pake bawa-bawa aplikasi di HP, berakhir jadi bunch of shitty and cringey product placement. Bahkan one of them makin berasa iklannya karena sampe ada dialog ”aplikasi XXX aman loh“. Buset, ini mah versi high-budget dari iklan dalam scene sinetron-sinetron Indo. Selain itu, ngga dijelaskan juga kenapa dari semua manusia hanya Alex yang kisah hidupnya “kebagian kue” untuk dieksplor oleh emoji.

Well, sebenarnya lumayan enjoy sih, nontonnya nggak setersiksa itu. Andai aja product placementnya ga sebrutal itu, bisa sih kasih 3.

Watched this one day after one of my dogs died, lucky for me because my tears don’t burst out on every scene that shows Scraps, but it still touched me. I wish I could go to the Land of the Dead and take my dog from there even though he’s not covered in fur anymore!

About the storyline, well I already predict the plot twist, but at least I don’t expect anything about the ending so I can enjoy it till the end. Instead I expecting they could explore more the subplot about the social class issue, but yeah, duration matters, I guess.

It was a fun ride. Now give me the other fucking entry from this universe, please!! Whether it’s a sequel, prequel, or even a spin-off, just give it! I wanna see more from them.

Seru banget, throwback to the (not good, but memorable) old days. Sambil wondering kenapa jambore yang aing ikutin back then nggak seseru ini :(

I like how this movie portrays England in the 1880s perfectly. It’s like what I imagined when I saw the illustration of England back then when I read history-themed books from Why? science comic series.

Unfortunately, the subconflict (Enola-Tewkesbury) is way more interesting than the main one (Enola-Mom Holmes) because until the end, Enola and of course the audience still don’t know what the heck was Mom Holmes doing and why she’s missing.

Padahal babak pertama sampe keduanya udah well-executed banget, terutama di scene persidangan yang intens dan kerasa tensionnya. Eh dihancurin sama babak ketiganya yang  sinetron look-alike.. anak diasuh sama orang tua angkat -> anak nggak betah -> dibawa balik sama orang tua nya (dalam hal ini paman)
