Villager Tom Holland reminds me of Indonesian 10-am FTV played by random white people acting as a lower class 😭😭🤚🏽

Serba konyol dan over the top, tapi tetep seru banget ngikutinnya wkwkwk. Jarang2 liat film horor tapi jumpscarenya nggak terlalu ngagetin (even for me yang penakut+kagetan) kek gini

Bergenre action comedy kata Wikipedia, padahal lebih pas kalo disebut thriller-crime. Comedy-nya cuma works di 1 scene doang di babak pertengahan. Sedangkan action-nya juga cuma di-tease tipis-tipis sepanjang film dan baru pecah di babak terakhir.

Oh Jason Statham, the (unbeatable) man you are! Ofc there’s nothing new from the storyline, but I kinda enjoy it ... even though some scenes in the third act are so prolonged. I mean, come on! We all already know from the beginning that Jason Statham gonna beat those assholes easily, so what’s the need of giving us those bunch of unnecessary scenes?

Well, it’s kinda hard to understand the whole storyline. But, as a music-themed movie (not musical tho), of course it has superior sound design and it needs to be appreciated! Unfortunately, I don’t like the ending which is (again and again) stereotypical.

Pengen banget suka karena setting tahun 60an nya yang aesthetically pleasing, tapi that limited screentime of Margot Robbie made me drop the stars. Padahal namanya muncul pas  opening title credit baru awal-awal nongol, huft.

Beberapa bagian kerasa banget dilama-lamainnya, terutama di babak ketiga. Bikin geregetan 🙃 well at least it’s not as stupid as “sudden tsunami with no early-warning-system“ scene

Beberapa aspek penting di ceritanya nggak diexplore. Tapi masih lumayan enjoyable lah, walau ada satu kesalahan teknis yang cukup jelas muncul dalam bentuk tulisan di paruh awal dan juga paruh akhir. Soalnya muncul out of nowhere dan ga ada maknanya samsek. Tetep kudu nonton sebelum out dari Tudum tanggal 30.

Some part (the character arc for example) feels like all of a sudden. But, I still enjoyed it. The drama aspect makes me a lil bit touched. That’s the two factors why I give this 3 stars, although I’m almost ready to lower the score because of the anticlimax ending.
