Summer's Camera

2025

★★★½ Watched

A very unique film despite operating in a saturated genre. Jokes aside, I'm still fairly early into my dive into Anderson's filmography but The Royal Tenenbaums is comfortably his earliest work I've seen. It's fascinating to see the parts falling into place and how his trademark style has evolved. It's got the ensemble cast, but not so much of the fast paced dialogue. It's got beautiful cinematography, but not quite the level of whimsy…
