みちる (Michiru): MITRO CHiRAL’s review published on Letterboxd:
Lux Aeterna (2019) but it's about film editing. If you know a thing or two about editing, this is a FUN watch.
Imagine a film that has the story of an average 'haunted file' creepypasta (the '.avi' file ones, not '.exe' ones) from the early-2010s, but actually good, funny, and well-made.
Come for the title, stay for the eclectic mix of humor, meta-humor, east asian horror tropes, creepypasta vibes, that bit about Bong Joon-ho, and the disclaimer at the end credits.
Also i need the film they were editing as an actual film. It actually looks nice (Shunji iwai-ish too! Watch out for an extra with a Love Letter (1995) t-shirt!)
