A man said to the universe:
“Sir, I exist!”
“However,” replied the universe,
“The fact has not created in me
A sense of obligation.”

When a rat appeared in the scene where they're stuck in the swinging cages, my eight-year-old exclaimed, "Awwww. Cute!" Immediately after, one of the Time Bandits bit the rat’s head off, and she made the funniest pouty face. Five minutes later, my five-year-old puked.

Longlegs has gotta be the most artistically uncompromised film I've seen this year. It's just so rad that Neon is continuing to push transgressive art like this into mainstream cinemas. I'm so envious of what Osgood was able to pull off here - there's really no other film like it.
