I'm a biologist and I grew up with Harry Potter. I have no interest in this at all.

Hypnotically beautiful! The technical limitations helps it to feel timeless rather than of out of time and makes it feel like something that both could've been displayed on a cave wall by the time One Thousand and One Nights was written as well as at an independent film festival 2024.

Give this movie the recognition it deserves! Snow White ain't got nothing! (It has a lot but you get my point)

Not all was good in the 20's but man could they create cinema. The sets look great, the special effects look better than many from 100 years later and best of all looks Douglas Fairbanks!
I don't know what it takes to bring this kind of film making back, but I'm all for it! Unless it's a world war and slave labour , in which case I'm out.

This one is the most boring of the Harry Potter movies and the one that feels most like a middle entry in a franchise. Even though it has brilliant elements, like Imelda Stauntons Umbridge for example, the lack of a classic dramatic structure keeps it from feeling like a film that can stand on its own two legs and takes away from the emotional payoffs it's trying to deliever.

It's impressive how they made an AI write a superhero movie based on the input "the most average superhero movie ever" and then made rewrites to make it even less original. You could literally cut this film together with clips from other movies and then paste the Rocks face on top of it.

One part Marvel easter egg filled with smaller easter eggs, one part Sam Raimi horror-comedy-gore complete with haunted books, haunting camera crawls and Bruce Campbell!

I watched this by mistake. It was a good enough premise but too many characters and too hard to follow. I enjoyed the ride though.
