Ok yeah I know the original 'Grease' is technically a better movie and a legitimate classic...but I love 'Grease 2' more and I'll never apologize for it.
The songs are catchier, the dancing is better, the female empowerment is stronger, and Maxwell Caulfield is the goddamn hottest man alive in every frame of this movie.

The original animated Lilo & Stitch is in a Disney blind spot for me so I don't have any thoughts on how this compares to that, but I was legitimately charmed by this.

Epitome of a plane movie....extremely hammy dialogue and acting but the story is compelling enough to keep you watching in-between flight announcements and ordering your ginger ale.

This ending though??? RUDE AS HELL.

I kind of thought the whole thing was building up to a mea culpa that somehow still helped him avoid jail time but....NOPE. Instead, Eastwood "make it up for yourself." Yes, sir.

Michael Moore has the power to turn people against each other in record time if you happen to disagree on his merits as a documentary filmmaker but with Bowling For Columbine I truly believe he defined a time period of American history better than any other cinematic resource. He asks some very difficult questions here that ultimately can't be answered definitively but as a conversation starter this is perfection.
The saddest thing about it though is that 10 years later…
