Stunning. Utterly stunning.

THIS is what a meet cute romance should look like on film in 2023. So natural, fun, cheeky, flirtatious and yes, cute.

Such an impressive directorial debut. The use of South London is brimming with pride and belonging. And the two leads have the best chemistry that I've seen on screen for years. I'd snog them both. Even with the normally annoying fish eye lense.

A bit sterile but still a fairly thorough race through McLaren's life. It's just a shame that this wasn't made a couple of years later when The Papaya in both IndyCar and F1 have had such success.

Ritchie is certainly able to make a big film quickly. This one is rather lacklustre though. Basically a too serious for its own good National Treasure style story that wastes the talented cast. Obvious plotting.

Yet another of Godard's films about men trying to talk women into sleeping with them. It's all very intellectual of course, yet quite easy to go along with.

Still feels fresh. Laugh out loud funny, sends up the genre perfectly, and Cage is excellent.
