You know, I don't typically like watching animated films, but when an animated Predator movie comes out, I have no choice but to watch an animated film. I actually enjoyed Predator: Killer of Killers quite a bit. I'm a pretty big fan of the Predator franchise. I enjoy most of those movies, so watching this was a no brainer. And for the most part, I loved what this movie brought to the Predator franchise. It took us to times, and places I think most fans of the Predator franchise wanted to see, and they did it all in an interesting way. Plus, it managed to expand on the lore of the Yautja in a way that makes sense, and in a way that can be explored more in potential animated sequels. Which, I would be interested in seeing.

But, a part of me, a large part of me wishes this was live action. I think all three of the stories in this anthology are movies I'd like to see a live action version of. Especially the Samurai one. I think every fan of the Predator franchise wanted a live action Predator film set in Japan. Hopefully we can still get that one day, because although this version was cool, it would be even cooler as a live action, full fledged film. Regardless, I still liked this movie, and more importantly, I like what this movie could lead to. It ends on a scene that has me hyped for the potential future of these movies. Overall, I really enjoyed Predator: Killer of Killers. This is a movie that every fan of the Predator franchise should watch.

I love Terry O'Quinn, man. I sincerely thought I was going to have a hard time seeing Terry O'Quinn as a murderous slasher villian because of how much I love him in Lost, but seriously, it took one scene of this movie for me to not see him as John Locke. The Stepfather is a really fun slasher movie. I was actually surprised how much I loved this movie. It's not perfect, but it's a good time regardless and even though it's flawed, it's easy to get over that because of how charming it is

Terry O'Quinn is the reason to watch this movie. He switches between sweet father, to psychopath so easily. It's so entertaining to see. Like I said. I love Terry O'Quinn. I also really enjoyed Jill Schoelen here as the final girl. It's just too bad other characters here were a bit useless at the end. One character in particular whole arc was pointless. Regardless, I loved The Stepfather, and I'll definitely check out it's sequel when I can.

I don't think there is a movie in this world than I've seen more than Step Brothers. This movie was like my entire personality in high school, and for good reason. This movie is, was and will always be hilarious. Now, this is actually the first time I've rewatched this film in years, so I wasn't sure it would live up to my nostalgia, but it really did. It's still as funny as it ever was to me, and still a top 5 or 10 comedy of all-time in my opinion. Everything about this movie just works for me.

Obviously, I love Will Ferrell and John C. Riley here, but man, everyone in this movie is great and have their own hilarious moments. Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn, Richard Jenkins and Rob Riggle. All of them are so funny. And not only is this movie really funny, it's actually really sweet underneath all the silliness. The ending of this movie actually makes me tear up a bit everytime I see it. I'm glad I visited this movie after all the years. I love Step Brothers and always will.

I swear I've had this exact idea at least once in my life. Unfortunately, I'm shaped like Mark Addy in this film, and can't dance for shit. There goes that dream. The Full Monty is such a great comedy, it's a shame I never really hear about when it comes to all-time great comedies, because to me it certainly was. I was already expecting this movie to be funny because of the plot and the cast, but I wasn't expecting this movie to have the depth that it did. This movie is really sweet and heartfelt. I actually think I teared up at bit at one point. You really don't get that a lot in comedy movies, which really made this one standout to me.

I also thought the cast here was tremendously stacked. I already love Robert Carlyle and Mark Addy (I'll always love King Robert Baratheon), so I knew I would love them in this film, but the rest of the cast had a lot of treats for me as well. I grew up watching UK soap operas, and this movie has a few people I recognized from Coronation Street, like Steve Huison, which was really nice surprise for me. So, yes, I absolutely loved The Full Monty. It made me laugh, it made me cry. It's just a perfect little comedy. I'll eventually check out The Full Monty show as I'd love to spend more time with these characters.

Shot Caller is the best movie I've seen in quite some time. I've seen a lot of movies over the past few months, alot great, but none of them have hit me as hard as this movie did. In my opinion, Shot Caller is a masterpiece and after only one watch, has become one of my favorite films of all time. This movie is just truly incredible. It's itriguing, it's emotional and it's brutal as hell. I love the way the story in this movie unfolds. It's told in a non linear kind of way, and it does such a good job at showing you what you need to see, without showing too much. As the story unfolds, you start to understand this world more, you start to understand the character of Money more. Not everything makes sense right away, especially with certain character decisions, but by the end, the story wraps up perfectly, and everything falls into place in a really satisfying way.

I also think this movie has an incredible cast. Jon Bernthal, Lake Bell, Emory Cohen and a terrifying Holt McCallany are all amazing here, and all have amazing characters. Holt McCallany is the man. He blows me away in everything I see him in, and he really is terrifying in this movie. But, the best thing in this movie is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who gives one of the best acting performances I've ever seen. Seeing him go from a seemingly nice guy, with a picture perfect life, to this cold, calculated gangster is absolutely fantastic. It's such a well done transition. It doesn't happen right away, and again, it's shown in bits and pieces, and out of sequence, but it's amazing to witness. Shot Caller is truly an incredible film. I loved every second of it, and it's a movie I haven't stopped thinking about since I watched it.

I enjoying The Lords of Salem more the first time I watched it. Not to say I didn't enjoy it this time around, it just wasn't as good as a it being. I still think this is a underrated Rob Zombie movie and a movie I would whole heartedly recommend to any fan of the horror genre. There is a lot this movie does really well. It's beautifully shot, it's well acted and most importantly, it's eerie as hell. This is also arguably the scariest depiction of witches I have ever seen in a movie. Brother, if I saw a naked Meg Foster standing on my countertop in the middle of the night, I'm running for my life.

I think this movie just loses me in the end. The conclusion of this movie feels rushed. I don't think it was a satisfying end, especially, for the character of Herman (Jeff Daniels Philips), because he was supposed to be an important character, and he's just sort of shut out of this films conclusion. It's a bummer. Regardless, I still think The Lords of Salem is a good film. I still think it's one of Rob Zombie's most underrated horror films. It's also a horror movie I would recommend you check out, especially if you love creepy, naked witches.

Since I've been on a bit of a Tom Cruise binge, I figured I'd watch a movie I've always wanted to see, but always forget about. Edge of Tomorrow. Or is this movie called Live Die Repeat. Regardless, this is a movie I have had on my watchlist forever, and I finally decided to pull the trigger on it, and I'm glad I did. This movie is awesome. I know the whole Groundhog Day trope is done a lot in movies, but, I don't know, there is just something unique about this one that I really enjoyed. I think it's because this movie has an interesting blend of sci-fi, action and even bits of horror that make it stand out on its own. Plus, it's a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, it knows how to poke fun at the situation Tom Cruise finds himself in. I really enjoyed that.

Probably my favorite part of this movie is how different the character of Cage is compared to other Tom Cruise action characters. Cage is a coward to start this film, and it's so cool to see Tom Cruise be something other than a badass in an action movie. It also allows the character to develop in a really interesting way. He starts off as a coward, and as the film goes on, he becomes a legit hero. I loved that. Also, I have to mention Emily Blunt. God, I love her. John Krasinski is the luckiest man in the world. Vrataski is a badass, and I would actually love another movie with that character. Ultimately, I'm so glad I finally got around to watching Edge of Tomorrow. I loved this movie and I look forward to re-watching it in the future.

It's safe to say that Mission Impossible 3 is my favorite MI movie up until this point in the franchise. I'm sure that will change, but what won't change is how much I enjoyed this movie. This one just feels different than the other two movies in the franchise because it feels a bit more personal to Ethan Hunt. This movie is more about Ethan fighting to save someone he cares about as opposed to saving the world, and I think that gives this movie a unique feel. It gives this movie a different sense of urgency, which I ultimately really enjoyed. I also think this movie has a really interesting villian/hero dynamic, so much so, that I find it hard to imagine that any other villian will come close to matching Philip Seymour Hoffman in this one.

I also really loved the cast in this one. As I mentioned before, Philip Seymour Hoffman is an amazing villian here, Maggie Q was fantastic, Ving Rhames is badass as always and finally Simon Pegg shows up! I love Simon Pegg. Lastly, I have to mention Tom Cruise. His performance as Ethan in this one was perfect. He brings a different intensity to this one because of how personal the circumstances are here, and it's really amazing to see. Overall, I really loved Mission Impossible 3. I'm sure there will be other MI movies I end up enjoying more, but man, I'm sure this one will remain as one of my favorites.

You know, I had this a rated a bit lower at first, but the more I think about the movie, the more I love it. Juice is an incredible film, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to see it, especially considering 2Pac is my favorite rapper of all-time, and has been since I was a teenager. But, I'm glad I finally got around to watching this one because it's truly a phenomenal film, and one I can definitely see becoming one of my favorites of all-time upon re-watch. This movie is just so interesting. It starts off so lighthearted, and you sort of expect the film to keep that same tone, but then events unfold and stuff gets very dark. I saw someone on Reddit say the latter half of this film is like a slasher flick, and I kind of agree. Even the way some scenes in this film are shot, are very horror movie like

I also thought the characters in this film were pretty incredible, and all the actors did a fantastic job at portraying them. Omar Epps was fantastic as Q and an incredible protagonist. Tupac was absolutely phenomenal as Bishop. He was sociopathic, and scary, yet really charming. He was just the perfect antagonist in this film. I also really loved the characters of Steel and Raheem. All these characters were likable, and that's what makes this movie all the more tragic. None of thse characters deserved what happened to them. It just goes to show that one decision can change the lives of many people. Ultimately, I'm just glad I got around to watching Juice. It's an absolutely terrific movie that should be talked about more often. After this, I'll definitely be checking out more of Pac's acting work.

Mission Impossible 2 is the only Mission Impossible that I have seen before, but I was a kid when I saw it. So I really didn't much about it other than the motorcycle stuff at the end. I also thinking this movie was boring. I mean, I was a child, therefore I was a dumbass. But, I was so, so wrong. This movie is so dope. I know many people consider this the worst of the Mission Impossible franchise, and they might be right, but I still really loved this movie. This one just feel so different. It's got a unique style to it. It's extremely over the top and a little silly, but I really liked it. Once Tom Cruise threw his glasses at the camera, and they exploded, I knew this movie was going to be a banger, and I was right. It was.

I also really liked the new characters introduced here. Dougray Scott was a really good villian. Thandie Newton was a great new protagonist. It's really too bad the other movies ignore the existence of Thandie's character, because it would have been cool to see her do more. Regardless, I still really enjoyed what she brought to this film. Lastly, and always. Tom Cruise is the best. I liked the little bit in this movie where we get evil Ethan Hunt. Obviously, it's not actually Ethan, but still cool to see Tom be a bad guy for a bit. Overall, I'm really glad I decided to revisit this one as an adult, because Mission Impossible 2 is fucking great. I really enjoyed my time with it.

Believe it or not, I've only ever seen one Mission Impossible movie, and that's when I was a kid, and I don't have many memories of it. So, I pretty much have no experience with this franchise. But, I had to change that, so here we are. This first Mission Impossible goes incredibly hard. It's actually hard to believe that every film in this franchise is equal to this film if not better, because this one is fantastic. I guess in some aspects this one doesn't age that well. It's very 90s, especially with the tech, but I mean, that's kind of charming here. I also know this one is a lot more tame compared to it's sequels, but I actually liked the slower pace of this film. The famous ceiling drop scene was so fucking good and tension filled. The way the sound drops out as Ethan descends is absolute perfection.

Obviously, the cast here is great, with some really fun actors playing roles. I mean, who doesn't love Emilio Estevez and Ving Rhames? Also, Tom Cruise is the man! I could watch that man stare at a wall for two hours. It's funny, because this is the most tame Ethan Hunt is in any of these movies, and what Tom Cruise is doing for this film is still kind of crazy. As I mentioned before, that ceiling drop scene is kind of wild, and the fact that he did that all by himself is crazy to me. Seriously, the man is incredible. I'm really glad I decided to watch this first Mission Impossible, and I'm really looking forward to watching it's sequels. This film was great, and I absolutely loved it, but I'm pretty excited to see the crazy lengths Tom Cruise goes in it's sequels.

I never thought in a million years that I was going to love The Monkey as much as I did. I didn't really enjoy Oz Perkins last film Longlegs, so I really dragged my feet to watch this one. But man, this film was so great that I can honestly see it becoming one of my all-time favorite horror films. This movie is just right up my alley. It's so silly, and over the top and that I just absolutely loved it. It reminded me a lot of a Final Destination movie, but just completely unserious. Usually, I'm not that into movies that lean this much into silliness, but it really worked for me here. This movie genuinely made me laugh a bunch.

I also loved the cast in this movie. Theo James is great, Tatiana Maslany is perfect, and Sarah Levy is in this! That was an awesome surprise. I loved the characters in this film as well. Even the smaller roles were kind of iconic, like Uncle Chip played by Oz Perkins. If I were to nitpick, I do think the movie leans too much into CGI gore. You can really tell in some cases that it's almost entirely CGI which really takes you out. But, I mean, it's not a deal breaker, just a nitpick. Jack Quaid has really been on a role this year. In my opinion, all three of his major film releases have been bangers, and Novocaine is my second favorite of the bunch. This movie is great. It's not without flaws, but it's just such a fun little action/comedy. Plus, the concept of this movie is pretty damn unique, which gives this film the edge over some more generic action movies. I really think what won me over about this movie, besides the novelty of its premise is the relationship between Jack Quaid and Amber Midthunder's characters. They were so cute together, and so endearing. I really enjoy both of them as actors.

The only real issues I have with this film is that both the action, and the villians were pretty bland. They aren't really big issues, but they are issues. The action is okay, it just lacked something. I just felt like they weren't as well executed as I thought it would be. As for the villains, Ray Nicholson was fantastic. He's still generic as a villain, but he's so good as an actor that it's hard not to enjoy the character he plays. The other villians were really forgettable. Regardless of those minor issues, I still really enjoyed Novocaine a lot. I was really looking forward to watching this, and it did not let me down at all. I loved it.

Very funny that I decided to watch this on the eve of Pride Month. Very fitting, I suppose. Man, this movie was far more devastating than I expected it to be. Truly, I think My Own Private Idaho is one of the saddest movies I've ever seen, and that all comes down to how brilliant River Pheonix was in this film. As for the film itself, I feel a bit mixed on it. I wasn't crazy about the first 40 minutes of this movie. Everything felt sort of surreal and disted. And even though I liked some of the characters introduced like Bob, I felt like everything was a bit chaotic and very impersonal. Eventually, things settle down and that's when the movie really finds its groove. I really enjoyed the final hour of this movie, and I wish the whole movie had been like that.

I really do think what makes this movie standout is how subtly devastating River Pheonix's performance is in this film. Pretty much from that campfire scene on, is some of the saddest stuff I've seen a character go through. You really get this sense of despair from his character and that all comes down to how great River Pheonix is in this movie. I also thought Keanu did a fantastic job at playing a character who's in a similar situation, but because of very different circumstances. It gives these characters a really interesting dynamic. Overall, I enjoyed My Own Private Idaho. It's not a perfect movie, and It's a bit of a hard movie to watch, but it's still a film that's absolutely worth giving your time to.

They both play these characters who are very different, but find themselves in similar circumstances and they develop this really sweet friendship. It's an odd couple pairing, but one that works really well for me.

Among other things I thought this movie was pretty funny. Again, I think that just comes down to Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid being great, but this movie did make me laugh quite a bit. I do wish some of the mystery had been better executed. The people behind the main issue in the movie are extremely bland and forgettable, which is too bad. They really needed to be more memorable. I guess I'll never skip over Sleepy Floyd the next time I play 2K. Freaky Tales was actually a very fun movie, and I wasn't that convinced it was going to be when I first started the film. It took me a bit to warm up to the movie, but once it got going, it really had me pretty invested. It's an anthology film, and at first I thought some of the stories stood out more than others, but eventually they all intertwine, and it really won me over by the end. So those stories that I liked less than others, became better as the movie went along.
Personally, I still enjoyed certain aspects of the movie more than others. I thought Pedro Pascal's part of the film was terrific, and that was definitely my favorite part of the movie.

I also really enjoyed how quirky this movie is. I just so happen to know a lot about basketball, hip hop and pop culture. So everything this movie was referencing, I was understanding. It may not be for everyone, but it was for me, and I appreciated that. Lastly, I really enjoyed the cast here, and was surprised by some of the actors in this movie. Normani and Tom Hanks were in this movie and I had zero idea! Normani was especially great, as her portion of this film is really what warmed me up to the movie. Ultimately, I enjoyed Freaky Tales a lot more than I expected to. I would love to re-watch this one sooner rather than later, because I'm sure I'll enjoy it even more.

You know, I never really set out to watch war movies, but for some reason I was interested in watching Warfare. Maybe it was the cast, but for some reason I really wanted to watch this movie, and I'm glad I did. This movie is absolutely terrific from beginning to end. I went into this not really knowing much about the events the movie is based on, but I left with a real appreciation for both the story this movie tells, and the men that this story is about. This movie is just a really tense hour and a half. It starts off a bit slow, but at a certain point in the film, things start to go bad, and the tension never let's up. I was stressed as hell for at least an hour of this films runtime. I can't imagine how difficult situations like this are in real life, but I feel like this movie does such a good job at portraying this situation as realistically as possible. It felt so real that it actually made me feel a bit sick.

I also think this movie wouldn't have worked without such a great cast. All of these guys really sell this story. As I mentioned before, when these guys get hurt and you're hearing them yell through this films great audio work, you legitimately feel sick. For example, Joseph Quinn's performance was one of those that stood out to me. He was screaming for his life and it felt so real to me. I couldn't believe it. I usually don't get bothered by gore or anything, but man, this movie just hit me like a ton of bricks. And that's just one character. A lot is going on, and all of these people are going through their own processing of the situation. It's all just fantastic. Overall, I really can't recommend Warfare enough. I thought this movie was absolutely terrific, and I genuinely think it's a must watch film. I look forward to re-watching this one in the future.

I can't even begin to tell you how much anxiety Drop gave me. It wasn't even because I cared if someone got killed, I just hate socially awkward situations, and this movie is full of them. I felt so uncomfortable! Regardless, I still had a pretty good time with Drop. It's a pretty fun little movie, with a pretty interesting concept. I thought both Meghann Fahy, and Brandon Sklenar were terrific here, especially considering how it's basically a movie that take place in a single setting.

I also thought Christopher Landon did a fantastic job directing. This movie has a ton of style, and it really adds alot to this movie. Unfortunately, the movie loses me a bit in the end. It becames a little too over the top. Not like this was the most grounded movie, but that last 10-15 minutes really take away any tension this movie had. Overall, I still really enjoyed Drop. I would definitely recommend.

I don't care what anyone says, Knock Knock features a top tier Keanu Reeves performance. Legitimately one of my favorite monologues of all time is preformed in this movie. This movie is worth watching just for that monologue. Other than that, I thought Knock Knock was a really fun movie. I'd actually go as far to say that's it's a pretty interesting premise for a movie. Unfortunately, I think it's a little held back by some really poor writing. Had it been a little more focused, I genuinely think this movie could have been really good. Instead, it's just a fine and entertaining ride, with one of the greatest cinematic monologue of all-time.

As I mentioned, I love Keanu in this, but I also think Ana de Armas and Lorenza Izzo are really great here too. They were very over the top, but they were actually pretty disturbing as characters. They were really good villians, even if they weren't conventional villains. I just wish their motives were a bit more clear. At the end, I was like well, what was the point of all this. But that's not the actors fault, it's the writers fault. Ultimately, I still really enjoyed Knock Knock despite its abundant flaws. I would not hesitate to re-watch this movie again. If I'm being honest, I've always watched the monologue on YouTube like four times already.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a movie I had planned on watching for ages, and just never could find it streaming. I'm a big fan of Shane Black's The Nice Guys, and I figured I would love this one too. Well, no surprise, I finally found it and I loved it! Now, do I think it's as good as The Nice Guys? Not really, but it's really damn close. I actually think this movie does some things better, but overall, I prefer The Nice Guys. I love the mystery in this movie. That's the main thing I prefer about this movie over The Nice Guys. I love murder mysteries, and this one throws you for so many loops. It's a really fun time. It does get a bit convoluted and a little confusing if you aren't paying attention, but it's still a really well done mystery.

I also love Robert Downey Jr, and Val Kilmer in this film. Both of them were so funny, and they had such great chemistry together. Val Kilmer was particularly hilarious. I don't think I can repeat some of the things he says in this movie, but just know, he was killing me. But, I already knew that man was hilarious from MacGruber. Ultimately, I'm glad I finally found Kiss Kiss Bang Bang to watch. It's unfortunate that it took me this long to find, but I'm glad I finally got around to watching it. I really enjoyed this movie. Lastly, Rest in Peace Val Kilmer. Truly one of my favorite actors.

Much like The Matrix Reloaded, I went into The Matrix Revolutions with low expectations because of the negative things I've heard about it over the years, but I gotta say, I really loved this film. I was actually surprised by how much I loved this movie. I thought it was a very fitting end to this trilogy of films. Personally, I thought Reloaded and this film mesh together really well to create a great overall story. I like that they feel like one big movie, because after all, it is. They were filmed back to back and you can feel that watching them. Maybe when these initially came out it was a disappointing experience because Reloaded has all the lore, and Revolutions has all the action, but watching them now for the first time was a great experience for me.

I also thought this movie had a great amount of emotional depth to it. I mean, this movie had me in tears at one point. It has sad moments, it has moments of triumph. I thought it was really beautifully done. Lastly, I thought Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss were so great in this movie. They were great in all of these movies, but because this was supposed to be the end, you can feel the weight of that on their characters. They were the reason I cried to begin with. I love Neo and Trinity as characters. I love their story together, and I love how their stories ended. Ultimately, I really loved The Matrix Revolutions so much more than I expected. I actually love all three of these movies. Screw the critics.

You know, The Matrix Reloaded wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. Obviously, it doesn't even come close to the original Matrix, but I actually still liked Reloaded a fair bit. It has a lot of problems, especially in the first hour or so, but when the Wachowski's decided to kick this movie into full gear, it really goes for it and I was thoroughly entertained by it. I just enjoy this story continuing. Did the Matrix need a sequel? No, it didn't. But do I hate the idea of exploring this world more? Absolutely not. A lot of interesting stuff is introduced in this movie. I liked the stuff with the Oracle, and the Architect. I even like the idea of Agent Smith being a rogue agent stuck in the Matrix. It's not explored enough in this movie, but I hope Revolutions continues that stuff because I thought that was really interesting.

I will also say this movie does have one thing better than the original Matrix, and that's Harold Perrineau. Lost for life! Lastly, I think Keanu Reeves does an excellent job in this movie. He's playing both the badass, and semi Jesus like figure and it really works for me. You feel this burden on his shoulders throughout the film, he's stuck between saving the one he loves and saving humanity. This movie pretty much solidifies that his character on a personal level, will not get a happy ending, and to me, that's compelling. But, again, I haven't seen Revelations yet, so I could be wrong. Regardless, I really enjoyed The Matrix Reloaded. I liked it far more than I expected to, and I'm looking forward to watching the next two Matrix movies.

This is the first time I've watched The Matrix in years, and it's the very next day after watching it, they decided to announce a fifth Matrix is in the works. Maybe this is proof that we do indeed live in the Matrix. Man, this original Matrix is just a masterpiece. I guess some minor aspects are a tab bit dated, but this movie feels so timeless and I don't think that's ever going to change. If anything the more time goes by, and the world continues to evolve, this movie only becomes more relevant. The Wachowski's truly did something special with this movie. Now, I can't speak for the sequels, because I haven't seen most of them yet, but this movie is truly something extraordinary. They created something that I would consider to be a must watch film.

Not only is this movie thematically strong, with lots of relevancy, it's just a badass movie in general. Neo, Trinity, Morpheus, and Agent Smith are all such cool main characters. I even enjoyed the side characters like Tank. I also absolutely love the action in this movie. It's so over the top, entertaining and visually stunning. The final act with Neo and Trinity entering the building to save Morpheus might be one of most beautifully shot action sequence I've ever seen. Just writing about it makes me want to watch this movie again. What more can I say about The Matrix that hasn't been said before. It's a masterpiece, and one of my favorite movies of all-time.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy Johnny Mnemonic very much. I wasn't expecting this movie to be the greatest film ever, but I expected it to be better than it was. The premise of this film is really interesting. It's actually very similar to Cyberpunk 2077, which is probably my second favorite video game of all-time, but sadly, just because it's has a similar story, it doesn't mean it's going to be as good. I zoned out so much watching this movie. It's not even that's it's boring, it's just not good and couldn't keep my attention.

I'd zone out, and come to just to see Dolph Lundgren playing Moses or something. I'd zone out and come to just to see a hacker Dolphin. Like what's was going on here. What is there a hacker Dolphin who saves the day? On the bright side Keanu is still awesome here, because he always is. I also enjoyed seeing Ice-T and Henry Rollins here. I actually gained some interest when Henry Rollins showed up. Other than that, I'll probably never watch this film again.

River's Edge is another Keanu Reeves movies that I can't believe isn't talked about as much as some of his bigger movies. I find this movie to be incredibly underrated, and had I not been actively watching any Keanu Reeves movies I can find, I would have missed this absolute gem of a movie. It definitely has it's issues, and I wouldn't consider this his best movie, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that this movie is going to stick with me for a long time. This movie just has something about it that's attention grabbing. It's a very lowkey film. Not a ton happens, and it doesn't have a pleasant story, yet it's incredibly engaging, and thought provoking.

I'm also a really big fan of the cast of this movie. I really think this movie has some tremendous acting performances from everyone involved. I know Crispin Glover is often the talk of this movie because his performance here is let's just say, unique. But, personally, I thought he was pretty amazing. It's over the top and feels so out of place looking at it from a distance, but it's really not. He's playing a cringy teenager who's trying to help his friend. Of course he's going to be over dramatic. So, ultimately, I really loved River's Edge. I highly recommend you check this one out if you've never heard of it, because it's truly a special film.

I completely understand why Keanu Reeves wants to do a sequel to Constantine, because this character, and the world he inhabits is so unique and so cool. I did not want this movie to end, that's how much I enjoyed it. This was a first time watch for me, like a lot of the Keanu Reeves movies I'm watching, but I knew from the first five minutes of this movie that it was going to be amazing, and I was right. This movie is incredible and almost everything about it worked for me. It's a very visually striking movie, which right of the bat got me invested in this movie, it has a genuinely good story and amazing characters. Plus, this movie actually manages to make a movie gritty and dark, but not miserable. It has moments of levity, but it also doesn't go too silly. It's perfectly balanced.

Besides John Wick, Neo and Johnny Silverhand, this is my favorite role of Keanu Reeves. John Constantine is such a cool character, and Keanu plays this version of that character to perfection. I know this movie is apparently not comic accurate at all when it comes to the character of Constantine, but I never read the comics so that doesn't really matter to me. Plus, visually, I like how Keanu looks as the character. The dark hair, pale skin, and dark suit works for me. Also, I've never seen someone look so cool while smoking. Overall, I thought Constantine was an incredible movie. I enjoyed my time with it alot, and I look forward to rewatching this one in the future. Man, Patrick Swayze is the greatest. Legitimately one of my favorite actors, and he never gets the credit he deserves which sucks because the man is amazing. I recently decided to watch as many Keanu Reeves movies as I possibly can, and I figured I'd continue this journey by watching Point Break, which has been a movie on my watchlist for what seems like forever. I'm really glad I finally pulled the trigger on watching this movie, because I thought it was awesome. I think I always hesitated to watch this film because of how much I heard Fast and the Furious copied it. I almost felt like why would I want to watch the same movie, but man was I wrong. This movie is superior to F&F in every single way, and that's a really big complement, because I think F&F is a great movie already. This movie has a lot more going on than something like F&F and I really enjoy that. It gives this movie a sense of depth.

I think Johnny Utah, and Bodhi are really interesting characters. They have a fascinating dynamic that plays out in a really compelling way throughout the whole movie. Both Keanu and Swayze kill it in this movie. This movie also feels like it has much bigger stakes because of what the Ex-Presidents are doing. Robbing banks feels a whole lot more dangerous than stealing DVD players, and you can feel that, especially in the latter half of this movie. I also really liked where this movie ended off. It's not a happy ending, but it kind of is to a certain degree. Both Johnny and Bodhi end up free in a way. I thought that was really cool. Overall, I just really enjoyed my time with Point Break. I loved this movie so much and I'm glad I finally got around to watching it. I think I would easily put this movie in my top 10 favorite action movie of all-time. At this point that list is at least half Keanu Reeves movies.

Man, I really loved Bill and Ted Face the Music. For a movie that takes place a couple of decades after the original two Bill and Ted movies, this movie works really well. It's still missing a bit of that magic the original Bill and Ted movie had, but it sort of makes up for that by having a really heartfelt storyline, which the other Bill and Ted movies don't really have. A lot of the movie really worked for me because it tied in so well with the other two movies in this trilogy. It takes those original movies and expands on it without ever ruining those previous movies, and I really enjoyed that.

I also really enjoyed seeing an older Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves playing Bill and Ted. Although, I thought Keanu's performance felt a bit off, especially when compared to Alex. I still thought he was great, but just something felt off, and I can't put my finger on it. I also really enjoyed Bill and Ted's daughters as characters and I really enjoyed their plot line. Samara Weaving can do no wrong anyways. Ultimately, I really enjoyed my time with Bill and Ted Face the Music. It's the perfect conclusion to this trilogy. I'm a a little bummed I'm finished these movies, but I know for sure I'll be revisiting them often.

Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey was a step down from me from the original Bill and Ted, but I still enjoyed my time with it. It just didn't hit the same as that original movie for me. I thought this movie did a lot of stuff that really worked for me, but it lost me a bit in the second half of the movie because this movie gets really weird, which I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy, I just didn't. Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves were still great as Bill and Ted, and I really really loved William Sadler as the Grim Reaper. He was easily my favorite part of this movie.

I also really enjoyed Evil Bill and Evil Ted. They really were the most heinous. I also really liked the ending to this movie. I wasn't crazy about the Station stuff, but seeing Bill and Ted come out victorious was awesome. Extra points for the KISS song on the end credits. So, even though I don't think Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey was anywhere near as good as the original Bill and Ted, I still had a good enough time with it and I would not hesitate to re-watch this movie in the future.

As much as I enjoyed True Romance, I can't help but think it would have been better if Quentin Tarantino directed it. I mean that as no disrespect towards Tony Scott, because he did a great job, but at times this movie feels really unfocused. Now to be fair, that could be the scripts fault, which Tarantino wrote, but, some choices in this movie were really strange, and you can't blame that on the script. Still, I had a lot of fun with this movie. It's legitimately full of interesting and entertaining characters. I actually think that's one of my major gripes with this movie. It's so full of amazing characters, and you don't nearly get enough time with each of them. Nearly every scene in this movie has a recognizable, and often times, legendary actor giving one hell of a performance. There are so many isolated scenes in this movie with those actors that are legitimately incredible.

I also really loved Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette in this movie, and I love their characters so much. Their love story was actually so endearing and I wanted so much more time with them. I especially wish we got to spend more time with Alabama, because at a certain point in this movie it does feel like she's put on the backburner, and thats unfortunate, because I think she's easily one of the most interesting characters in this film. But, I got to be honest, there is one aspect of this film that I could not forgive. What the hell was that score? I felt like I was watching a comedy or a movie about pirates. I swear, that one aspect ruined this movie for me. I can deal with an unfocused movie, I can't deal with pirate themed music. Still, as I mentioned, I did enjoy my time with True Romance. I expected to like it more than I did, but I still did like it and I would definitely re-watch it in the future.

I figured I would like this movie because I'm easily amused, but I really did this think this movie was good. The main four characters were all really likeable, and more importantly, pretty believable as characters. You really sympathize with them because of how likeable they were.

I also thought they were pretty smart for victims in a slasher movie. There were moments in this movie where I thought their actions were very clever, which isn't always the case in these types of movies. As for the slasher villians, they were fine. I wasn't super impressed by them, but they work well enough. Ultimately, I'm just glad I finally found Wrong Turn to watch online because I really enjoyed my time with it.

RoboCop 2 is definitely a worse movie than the original RoboCop, but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it. Unfortunately this movie doesn't do one thing better than the original film, but it at least does a decent to good job at keeping the story of RoboCop consistent. I actually think there is a section of this movie that legitimately could have made this movie amazing, but unfortunately it's a subject that's touched on for what feels like a split second, and never touched on it again. And I think that's really unfortunate, because frankly you're never going to our weird that original movie, so the right decision was to make this a more personal story. I would have loved for this movie to actually show Alex Murphy struggle with his past for the entire film.

As I mentioned, it's picked up for the first half an hour of this film, and settled really quickly. Personally, I think that is a really interesting story to expand on and this movie, unfortunately, just has no interest in that. But, what we do get here is more violence and over the top action and I'm fine with that as well. Peter Weller is still great as Alex Murphy, and I actually enjoyed the parts where he got to be a bit silly. I also thought the villians were pretty good. I like Cain, and the whole gang of creeps. So, despite this movie not being nearly as great as the first RoboCop, I still really enjoyed this movie. It's not perfect, and it definitely should have strived for more but what you get here is a fun continuation of that original film and sometimes that's all you need.

The only reason I decided to watch RoboCop is because I wanted to buy the video game RoboCop: Rogue City and I know the game is heavily tied in with the first two RoboCop films, so I felt it was necessary for me to watch these movies. I'm really glad I did, because this first RoboCop is an all time favorite for me. I think I'd even go as far to say I liked this movie more than a bunch of other high profile sci-fi flicks. This movie is just so quirky, stylish and over the top, it's hard to compare it to anything I've ever seen before. It's not like an amazingly intricate storyline for a movie in this genre. Like objectively, if you compare this to a movie like Terminator it seems like an incredibly basic idea. But for such a simple storyline, it has a real strong message that is still as relevant as ever.

I was genuinely impressed by how over the top violent this movie was. I always heard how gory it was, but I wasn't expecting a man to have all in limbs blown off within the first ten minutes of this films runtime. Personally, I'm always entertained by hyper violence, and this movie does it right. I also loved Peter Weller as Alex Murphy, and I especially loved Kurtwood Smith as Clarence. Since I've watched this movie, all I hear in my head is "Bitches Leave." This movie is full of iconic quotes, but that's my favorite. Thank God I decided to buy that RoboCop game, which in turn forced me to watch this movie, because the game is great, but I adore this movie. It's an all-time favorite film for me. The Elephant Man was such a sad movie, and then I found out it was a real story, and that only added to my sadness. What a horrible thing for a person to experience. Life can be such an unfair thing, and it's absolutely awful how someone that had no control over their appearance can be treated. The Elephant Man did an incredible job at portraying this story. It doesn't shy away from anything. It really goes out of its way to show you the ugliest side of humanity, but it also doesn't shy away from showing you how caring humanity can be. I think that's the most interesting aspect of this film. It's an incredibly bleak film, but it also has little moments sprinkled throughout that are really beautiful and heartwarming.

I also thought that John Hurt brought a lot of levity to this movie because of how charming he was as John Merrick. A lot of bad things happen to this character, but the innocence of that character, and the way John Hurt brings him to life lightens the mood of the film in a way. Really, all of the acting was phenomenal in this film. Lastly, this is the first David Lynch movie I've ever seen, and I was absolutely mind blown with how gorgeous this film was. If you told me this was a movie made in the in the early 1900's, I would believe you. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with The Elephant Man. Well, I'm not sure I enjoyed my time, because I was depressed by the end, but I do think this is a must watch film. It's absolutely stunning in every way possible.

I watching From Dusk Till Dawn when I was 19 years old and thinking Tom Savini as Sex Machine was the coolest thing in the world. Fast forward to me being a 30 year old watching this movie, and I still think Tom Savini as Sex Machine is the coolest thing in the world. Some things never change. I love From Dusk Till Dawn, and I always will. This movie is just so weird and over the top that it's hard not to enjoy. I know a lot of people prefer the first half of this movie and not the latter half, and I use to feel that way myself, but this time around I enjoyed the movie for how jarring of a turn it takes. The second half of this movie legitimately comes out of nowhere, and I think that's why I enjoy it so much.

I also love the cast in this film. Besides the main cast, there are so many cool characters in this movie. As I mentioned Tom Savini as Sex Machine is the coolest thing of all time. Fred Williamson as Frost is just as cool. Salma Hayek is absolutely hypnotizing as Santanico. Cheech Marin playing 3 different characters is amazing. Every aspect of this movie is just so damn cool, and the amazing cast just plays into that vibe. Ultimately, I'm really happy I got around to rewatching this movie because it had been so long since I've seen it. This movie is just such a blast, and I definitely think it's a must watch for any fan of the horror genre.

Sadly, I've come to the end of my Psycho journey with this fourth film. I have no intention of ever watching the remake, so I guess this is it until I decided to re-watch these movies, or check out Bates Motel. I've really enjoyed all of the movies and Psycho IV: The Beginning was no different. I thought this movie was good. It's not great because I do think it has some issues, but I also happen to think it's a fitting end to this set of films. It's a satisfying conclusion for both the story of Psycho, but also a satisfying conclusion for the character of Norman Bates. I love the character of Norman Bates so much, and I love Anthony Perkins portrayal of that character, so it's nice to see both this character and Anthony Perkins get a proper send off with this movie. It's a fitting end.

I also thought this movie did a really terrific job at the flashback scenes. I wasn't crazy about Henry Thomas as Norman, but I still thought those flashback sequences were really well done. They were surprisingly brutal actually. This movie actually made me feel a little uncomfortable because it touches on some really dark things, but it does fit within this story and it does a good job at showing Norman's life with Mother. Lastly, I thought Olivia Hussey as Mother was fantastic. She was sweet at times, and utterly awful at the flip of a dime. Just perfect casting. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with Psycho IV. It's the worst of the bunch but still a very enjoyable movie, and a fitting end to this series of films

I didn't realize how much of a stud Jeff Fahey was back in the day. That's a damn good looking man right there. Anyways, Psycho III was another really great sequel to both the original Psycho and Psycho II. Personally, I don't think it's as strong narratively as those two films but I still think this is a sequel that's worth watching. It still manages to build upon the character of Norman Bates in interesting ways, and actually does a very good job bringing his character full circle by the end. I think it's main problem is that it's a bit more of the same. It introduces some interesting things, but it never really goes all the way with it.

I especially think the character of Maureen and her romance with Norman was a bit wasted. I think that romance could have been explored more. Her character really brings a sense of humanity to Norman, but it's wasted by the end. At least for her character. Norman's arc in this film is actually very good, and my favorite thing about this movie. He finally got a happy ending, even if it isn't happy in the traditional sense. It's his happy ending, and I just want my Norman to be happy. Ultimately, Psycho III is a very good sequel, and very enjoyable. It's not on the level of the previous two films in the series, but still very enjoyable.

Funnily enough, the reason I finally got the urge to watch the original Psycho, was to watch this movie. I always heard how great of a sequel this movie is, and that hype alone got me interested in checking this movie out. Hell, I'm pretty sure this movie is referenced in Scream 6 for being an underrated movie. So, finally after experiencing and loving the original Psycho, I get to it's fantastic sequel. And I agree with the majority. This is a fantastic sequel to the original Psycho. I wouldn't say it's as good as that original film because it does feel a little different, but it's genuinely a perfect sequel to that original movie. It carries on that original story seamlessly, it focuses on interesting characters dynamics, and it builds upon an already iconic character in Norman Bates. This movie just does everything you'd want in a sequel to a classic film perfectly.

I mostly appreciate that this movie sort of plays with you throughout its runtime. Just like the main plot of this movie is to break Norman, and make him question his sanity, you as an viewer get to feel that too. At points in this movie you really question what's happening. Is Norman innocent, is he killing again? Is he really talking to his mother again, or is someone playing a prank on him. The whole movie does a really good job at playing with your feelings, and honestly, the twists in this movie really do work. I wasn't expecting them. Lastly, as I mentioned in my Psycho review, I absolutely love Anthony Perkins as Norman. Norman has become one of my favorite slasher villians based solely on the amazing performance of Perkins. I'm really glad I finally got around to watching this movie, because much like the original Psycho, I love this movie.

I know that Psycho is considered one of the greatest movies of all-time, and I know how groundbreaking it was for the time, but in all honesty, I really thought I was not going to enjoy this movie going into it. Sometimes older films are a little hit or miss with me, so I always assumed that this movie would fall into the miss category. I really thought I would appreciate this movie for it's legacy, but I did not think I was going to enjoy the actual film if that makes any sense. Well... I was wrong, because I fucking loved this movie. Psycho is easily one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. I didn't even feel the age of this movie at all, which is what I was primarily worried about. Despite the black and white, which I actually thought was beautiful, and the hilarious cost differences between stuff in the 50s and now, this movie has aged remarkably well. It has a real timeless feel to it, regardless of how old it is.

What surprised me most about this movie was how interesting it was before Norman Bates even shows up. I probably could have watched a whole movie about Janet Leigh running from the law. The addition of Norman just took this movie over the top for me. Also, for a movie this old, it still keeps you on your toes. I knew of the shower scene. Who doesn't. But I didn't realize it takes place halfway through the film. I always thought that was the final scene. That is a really bold move even in modern times, I can only imagine what the reaction was like when it first the movie initially came out. Lastly, I absolutely adore Anthony Perkins as Norman. He's so likeable despite being crazy, and I truly think that's just the charm of Anthony Perkins. I'm glad I finally got around to watching Psycho, because it's easily a top 10 horror film for me. I adore this film and I can't wait to re-watch it in the future.

Honestly, I enjoyed Heart Eyes far more than I expected to. I didn't really have many expectations for this film, but I was interested in watching it when I heard about it. Unfortunately, Twitter spoiled the ending reveals for me, and that resulted in me losing a bit of interest in watching the movie, but eventually I got that interest back, and I'm glad I did because I really did like this movie. It's definitely not a perfect movie because it does have some significant flaws, especially with the whole final reveal, but it's a really charming movie, and I had a lot of fun with it.

Frankly, this movie works for two main reasons. Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding. They were just fantastic and so likeable. it was really easy to root for them as characters. I would actually love a sequel to this movie with both of them back. Everything else in this movie could have failed, but their chemistry alone makes this a movie worth watching. Luckily, the movie does other things really well too, especially the kills and gore. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with Heart Eyes and I hope we get more of these movies in the future. Check it out if you get the chance.

This one hurts to say, but Wolf Man was awful. I was looking forward to this one for a while now because of how much I love Leigh Whannell as a filmmaker. Plus, I really loved his take on The Invisible Man and I was hoping Wolf Man would be just as awesome, but sadly, this movie is really bad. It's not the worst movie I've ever seen, but it's a really frustrating watch because you can see it had potential to be a good movie had some adjustments been made. Instead this film just continues to hammer away at really stupid plot points without ever trying to improve anything.

This movie does have one saving grace that I really do appreciate, and that's the camera work, and some of the effects surrounding the wolf transformation. For example this movie does some really cool stuff with sound design and perspective changes that really do make for an interesting element in this movie. It's just too bad everything else around that one cool element falls on its face. So, as I mentioned before I was really looking forward to Wolf Man, but was left extremely disappointed by it. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up as one of my least favorite movies of the year.

A lot like Dream Warriors, I found myself enjoying A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master a lot more this time around than I did the last time I watched it. Now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I don't think this movie is great, and no where near the quality of the original Nightmare or Dream Warriors, but it's a damn good time, and I really enjoyed it. I'm even willing to go as far to say I think Dream Master is the most creative Nightmare movie in the franchise. Some of this stuff this movie pulls off with camera work, and the actual dream sequences is pretty amazing. Even simple little dream sequences like when Alice and Dan keep going in circles, is just so brilliantly done. The first time I saw that scene, I thought my copy of the movie was damaged.

I also really like Alice as a the final girl of this movie. I think it's safe to say that Nightmare has the best selection of final girls of all the major horror franchises. Nancy, Kristen and Alice are all awesome in their own ways. I do wish Kristen, Joey and Kincaid got a bit more screen time in this movie, but at least their death sequences were pretty cool. Especially Joey's, which on a technical level makes no sense, but, still the final result is a damn cool shot. So, ultimately I'm glad I got around to rewatching A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. Sure, it's not an amazing movie, but I did enjoy it more than I did the last time I watched it. It's a good time.

I watched A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors for the first time a few years back and I really enjoyed it. I didn't like it as much as I expected to, but I did like it. But, after this recent re-watch, I found myself enjoying it even more than I did before. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised that after another re-watch of this movie in the future that this becomes my favorite Elm Street movie. This movie is just a whole lot of fun. It's definitely a movie that's a bit more silly than something like the original Nightmare, or even Freddy's Revenge, but it still manages to take everything I love about the original Elm Street and expands upon it in interesting ways. I also think that despite this movie being less serious and more over the top, it still manages to be scary. Which I know the later Nightmare movies don't manage to do so well.

I just think it's so cool how this movie doesn't only have one great final girl in Nancy, but a bunch of cool final characters with the Dream Warriors. I love those characters so much and I absolutely love how their dream powers relate to their characters. Every character was memorable. Not matter how limited their screen time. And even more than their powers, I absolutely love how every time Freddy killed one of them, their death was personalized to them. I think it's the most effective use of dreams in any of these movies so far because it's Freddy at his meanest. He's taking things the characters enjoy, or things they've done in the past to kill them. I really enjoyed that. Overall, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dreams Warriors is easily on its way to becoming my favorite Nightmare. I really enjoyed my time with this movie.

Really, I only have two complaints. One being that I wish the movie moved a bit quicker, because it does take a while to get to the actual revenge aspect of the film. The other being I wish Charles Bronson got revenge on the actual people that hurt his family. I liked him standing up for himself from random people, but it was have been more interesting for him to get revenge on the people that ruined his life. I personally think that would have made more sense. Other than that, I really enjoyed this movie. I'm looking forward to watching the sequels eventually. Also, Charles Bronson is the man!

The first 20 minutes of Clerks III had me a little worried that this movie was going to be a disaster. Once NFTs were mentioned I felt myself cringe so hard, and prepared myself for the worst, but somehow this movie manages to really come together by the end. I still think this movie has some issues, but honestly, it's one of the most moving films I've ever seen. Really, who would of thought I'd say that about a Clerks movie. Even when I think about the end of this movie now, I get a little emotional. It's a genuinely beautiful end to this series of movies, and I couldn't ask for more.

Once this movie decides to get going, it becomes a really clever film. Everything that happens in this movie is a meta retelling of the first two Clerks movies just done through the scope of Dante and Randall. To us, it's a movie, to them it's their life and they want to tell their story. Everything about that was really cool. Getting to see scenes from that original movie filmed with an older Dante and Randall was really interesting to see.

Lastly, I can't finish this review without mentioning how great Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson were in this movie. Both were just absolutely incredible here. I think this is easily their best work as these characters. Ultimately, I'm just glad Clerks III exists. Do I think it's better than the first two? Of course not, but I do think this movie is a satisfying conclusion to the Clerks trilogy. It lack in some areas compared to the first two Clerks movies, but it more than makes up for it with how genuinely beautiful this story is by the end.

This original House of Wax movie actually means so much to me. Not just because is a great movie, which of course it is, but because this is the only movie I my grandfather liking and watching. My grandfather was not really a movie person. He was more of a music person. You ask me what kind of music he liked, and I can tell you. Movies were a bit more of a rare occurrence. But, I'll always him watching this movie. I was really young, but I it vividly. So, every now and then when I think of him, and I miss him, I put this movie on. It makes me feel a bit closer to him if that makes any sense.

On top of all the personal meaning this movie has to me, I just love it. It has a great story, it's actually pretty scary for the era it came out, and it has some truly incredible effects for the time. I still can't figure out how the wax figures of the real actors were so life like. Truly amazing stuff. Also, were they just setting real sets on fire back then? Because holy crap. It looked like some of the actors were legit about to catch on fire. Anyways, House of Wax is a movie I love, and will always love. More importantly, it's a way for me to a man who means the world to me.

A Nightmare on Elm Street blows my mind everytime I re-watch it. I know how the film was made, I know a lot of the behind the scenes stuff, I know how all the special effects were made, and it's still somehow so impressive to me. It's magic every single time. I love this original A Nightmare on Elm Street a lot. Besides the original Halloween, this is the slasher movie I have seen the most. Much like the original Halloween, this movie is timeless and only gets better the more I watch it. The Nightmare franchise as a whole is a bit hit or miss with me, but this movie as a standalone thing is a masterpiece of the horror genre.

I just think this movie does everything right. It's executed perfectly. It's creepy, it's interesting, it's well acted, and it gives you arguably the best final girl and slasher villain of all-time. I would still argue of every major slasher movie villian that Freddy Krueger is the most fascinating. He's not by favorite slasher villain, but he's still the most fascinating character by far, and what Wes Craven created with this movie is still something to be impressed by. Ultimately, I just really love this original Nightmare film. Its one of my favorite horror movies of all-time, and probably always will be.

I seemingly decided I'm rewatching all of Tarantino's filmography, so might as well start at the beginning. Reservoir Dogs was and remains one of my favorite Tarantino movies. It doesn't matter that this is a smaller budget film, it doesn't matter that it's a directorial debut, it doesn't matter that is primarily filmed in a single location, and it doesn't matter that the plot is simple. This film is a masterpiece. From start to finish, this movie is simply incredible. It's such a good movie that I couldn't believe that by the time it was done that an hour and forty minutes had ed already. The films runtime just flew by. I genuinely think this movie has only one problem, and this is me nitpicking. It's that Tim Roth's accent is a little wonky. Especially when crying/yelling. Still love Tim Roth though.

This is also the movie where I fell in love with Steve Buscemi as an actor. All the main characters in this film are incredible, all the actors are fantastic, but man, I just love Mr. Pink. He's the only one in the whole film that was actually pretty level headed. He was a damn professional! Really, this film is full of iconic characters and I love them all. Hell, even Tarantino's own Mr. Brown is great. I can't hear Like a Virgin by Madona without thinking "dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick." Thanks alot Quentin. Ultimately, sure, there may be Tarantino films I think are better than Reservoir Dogs, and movie's of his I love more, but that doesn't really matter. I love this damn movie. It's a masterpiece.
