There's a lot to love about this but it definitely has it's flaws. Flawed mainly by the fact that it is clearly made for an audience to the point where it feels a bit pandering at times. There were pretty constant quick cuts and it moved extremely fast where I couldn't take time to think. I loved the vibrant orange in the opening sequence and I was very disappointed to see that Denis decided to go with a very boring looking white sand for the rest of the movie. Feyd was great and shooting the Harkonnens in monochrome was a cool move. It's still a great sci-fi, but kinda makes me think that Denis might not have been the guy for Dune... I do want to see this again hopefully my thoughts will change
