undoubtedly the best slasher around, if not for tasteful use of meta cliches, for its very real mystery and intrigue.
 
there continue to be layers and nuance in this movie I find even after a few rewatched, and I am forever in love with these characters and their dialogue - especially Stu Macher.

This was a love letter to Scooby-Doo fans everywhere, with the charming animation derived from the original show, top-tier comedy we get time and time again, and of course the rich thematic elements that really take Mystery Inc’s antics to a more philosophical level.
