I like a ionate character.
]]>Hmmmm ok sih, top actors pula, cuman beberapa scene dan most of the conversationnya kaku. Tapi aku suka indo punya super hero gini. Pevita keceehhh.
"It's my real life," ucap si nenek-nenek. Woah. Ini menegaskan kalau ini bukan fiksi, ini kehidupan- atau di antaranya.
"Even tho i agree women should be at home, doesn't make me a monster," pun kalimat yang lucu setelah aku ikutan sebal denger argumentasi beliau terhadap perempuan di mobil.

]]>cih, males.
]]>A relatable conversation. Romanticizing commute and strangers 101.
]]>So far i have been recommending it all over the place. Heartwarming, yet painful to watch.
]]>Since it's one of my top 4, i'm reviewing it here;
no review, this haunted me for a month or so.

AAAAA I LOVE MYTHICAL WOMEN GHOST. Ok sorry this was not the main story like- or is it? :) I like how it throws the audience to all kinds of prejudices. The plot got me...
]]>The suspense is subtle yet deep. I love the psychological background of the character. There are always questions along the story until the end.

Ok sih may all evil souls be haunted forever but not my type of film. I like haunting revenge women ghosts but i didn't get much from this one.
Well i did pick up a view of things. "I wouldn't expect you to know what i feel," I like how he is haunted by guilt, also the character's background of the acts is a neat domino, so it kind of makes sense.
]]>hypnotizing, strange,
but i hate guns.
Hm i see, we need to send some trauma therapist to the ghosts world ya.
]]>Horror kedua dalam seumur hidup, kebetulan nobar, but tbh not bad.
]]>Cliche plot but I strangely liked it?
]]>Tbh, Tiffany's character ruins the story. I REALLY LIKED THEM in the beginning, I was going to give 4 stars and send the film as mubi gift to my friend but what is wrong with the climax?! It's like my writings, the writer has no idea how to build a conflict!
Actually when i think about it, they kind of stigmatize things, but in the beginning i kind of tried to understand (because it makes sense IF they offer BETTER resolution) and liked Pat's motivations 'excelcior' plus blind-sweet loyalty. Hehe.
Sebal, because i would've loved this movie tbh... The tiring yet patient life of caregivers and the mirroring problems of the father-son, his hopes on Love... But the rest, hm...
]]>This got too personal from the very first scene to the last second, that it somehow feels unsettling and scary. The point of view of eldest sister watching the insecure parents, going on a trip we never know where to, being a child among all the mystery, questions, lies, fear, naive, worry, and stillness. It lets you guess what is in each character's mind. Nostalgic, it's haunting me.
]]>Tontonan nobar, i don't like it. All stars for my love, Jenna.
]]>i stick to my early minutes rating. I REALLY love it in the beginning but it kind of fades in the middle part. I like the absurd love story that is delivered by slow paced simplicity. The shots are poetic! Cinematic scenes and i love the narration that makes me feel like reading a classical novel. I guess in the middle part there are some scenes that are filmed more like some ment films which i don't understand why get a long duration.
I guess i did not focus on the love story, instead noticing the life of the people and their simple interactions. Also about unexpected changes and how life goes on, whatever happens.
oh! i also like films with non human actors like the dogs and the ball that is flowing through the river. It always amazed me to put uncertainty and nature to also follow a direction.
]]>Aaaaaakkkkkkkkkk.
(I need 3 days to finish this-)
My smile also rose every time Koji Yakusho smiles all the way in the film. I also like the song choices in the film. The way he wakes up everyday by the sound of brooms and smiles. How shadows are captured.
I mostly like a movie from its deeper meaning that i found from conversations, but here i don't have to wait for poetic words to actually feel something. I guess you can't over analyze these kinds of films, either perceived it in a most simple way or pay attention to everything.
]]>i wanted to read this book a long time ago but haven't gotten the chance. I like the animation of the film which fits the story of the Iran revolution and Marjane's life raised among a progressive family. It told really important messages and it touches me how young children and people in general must experience being oppressed and still being seen one sided.
From the young girl's perspective with a certain background, it is well told, but i believe it was seen controversial because of being misleading towards head scarf and Islam, and i partly agree that the story is missing another point of view if wanting to represent the experience of a religious self/community under the religious regime itself.
