Holy shit. This is why I love movies. 

There is no other director out there that could handle projects of this scale and complexity with such meticulous care and attention to detail. Dune: part two is science fiction at its best if not the very best and we are lucky enough to be living in a time to view it on the big screen and watch this amazing story unfold in the best way imaginable.

i love these sorts of films where you have no idea what’s going on or where the film is gonna go then all of a sudden it gets wrapped up with a nice little bow

Flesh melting from the framework, and the mechanical underbody rising once more from the flames. James Cameron knew what’s up.

Where the writing isn’t perfect and the flow at times feels a tad disted, the handling of incredibly important subject matter was treated exceptionally. Although I’m pretty inexperienced when it comes to Spike’s filmography, I truly believe there is no better person to direct a picture like this.

i really want to try and formulate the words and write a review but in all honesty i can’t be arsed. this film is so fucking good and that’s all i need to say.

Luca understands people. He understands emotions. Longing. To love someone, and maybe eventually be loved. Having a heart scattered in hundreds of pieces, and a hope and desire to desperately find your person in everyone you meet. All of which Daniel Craig displayed excellently. A performance unlike anything I've personally seen from him before.
