Joshua Niyogi’s review published on Letterboxd:
166 minutes of science fiction perfection. Seeing this in IMAX I felt like I was on Arrakis riding those worms, seeing Gods. Denis Villeneuve is a true master of his craft and it feels like his entire discography has been leading to this (and eventually completing his trilogy). Villeneuve's use of scale combined with his use of IMAX aspect ratio and sound, makes this an unforgettable theater experience. Greig Frasers cinematography is on another level. Hans Zimmers soundscape is as per usual game changing and kept me locked in. The use of the Voice in this and the spice scenes were quite something! Combined with Part One this is a true feast! Mirroring the journey but also growing from what was in Part One, it makes me appreciate the craftsmanship behind and in front of the camera even more. All of the performances were top notch. Zendaya and Ferguson, and Pugh stood out the most to me. Would’ve liked to have seen more of Walken but man I could go on and on about this. I need to see it again!
