I love LOTR. I love anime. And I must it that this was an odd combo. Maybe it was just the specific style of anime they went with. The 2D stereotypical anime faces with gorgeous 3D middle earth backdrops just feels off. 

I could’ve lived with that though. Biggest crime is that it just wasn’t as epic as it could’ve been. Epic moments get cut short or just don’t payoff at all. 

Still enjoyed it though and I’m glad it exists

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Right. So… I get the hate. The hobbit trilogy of movies should have been 1 movie. 2 tops. There is so much damn fluff in this. 

Yet despite that, I not only can’t help myself from loving this first entry, but I wouldn’t remove anything from it either. 

Sure there are a lot of changes and a lot of fluff, but that’s what I love about Jackson’s adaptations. Some of the best LOTR scenes are the ones that Jackson puts…

Second time watching the Dollars trilogy. Last time I saw it was about 6 years ago. Funny how I still so much of them even from so long ago. I can practically play the entirety of For A Few Dollars More in my head whenever I want. 

Also, it’s a toughie, but I think I prefer this one over Yojimbo
