The wait is over. Deadpool. Wolverine. Tasteful. Disrespectful. Self depreciating. Open mouths. Constant harassment. Pro-*NSYNC. Feige and Marvel actually let a lot of bodies hit the floor. Think Shawn Levy and team might’ve geeked out behind the scenes a little too hard because the fan service is heavy handed and probably won’t play as well watching outside of a full theater. Strange seeing the TVA and the green scenery of the void outside of Disney+. Nothing wrong with Tom Wambsgans playing around. Music was a bit of a mixed bag. My pants would be on fire if I said I wasn’t flabbergasted by the crew Wade put together. Dude really brought them out. I’m cool with Twisters not having a climatic kiss in the end but this on the other hand, no excuses. Let us have our cake and eat it too. I bid a farewell to all of the 20th Century Fox Marvel characters, educated wished they were able to sneak in a few more prominent variants but it’s all good. Watching Cassandra treat people’s skulls like bowling balls and the best Wolverine go berserk was good enough for me to walk away a satisfied man. Going to bed happy knowing all Deadpool’s have a Peter.
