Honestly I was close to giving this five stars! 

I really like the first film… But I had some issues with it. That being I thought the pacing was off and it had a really unsatisfying ending. Thankfully this film fixed both of those problems! 

Honestly I don’t know how else to talk about this film other than to just praise everything about it. I just thought from start to finish it was incredible. I guess I’ll start with the plot. It picked up from the first film so well. With that the films taps into so many different genres. Obviously sci fi but then you have a love story, a religious outlook and then a full on action film. Also has a lot of interesting political aspects about it. 

On a technical level the film is outstanding. One of my favourite things was just the sound of this movie. By that, yes I do mean the incredible score but also the sound mixing. It’s just fantastic. 

Visually the film is amazing as well. I was lucky enough to see it in imax and I’m now pleased they moved the original release date. Could you imagine if it had kept its original release date and we all missed out on the opportunity to see this in imax because of the marvels? 

This film is amazing though. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I was expecting it to be good but man this one kinda just blew me away. It was better than I ever could have imagined to be honest!
