Jacob Knight’s review published on Letterboxd:
Lady Terminator.
Somehow more relentless, expansive, and bloodthirsty than THE NIGHT COMES FOR US; 145 minutes of mayhem and bodily damage that still manages to retain a real emotional core, despite being set in a nightmarishly unreal world of infrared ninjas, pervy yakuza bosses, slimy drug dealers, abusive pimps, psycho cops, torturous politicians, hulking assassins, sadistic gimps, and an unnamed protagonist who just wants to stop being a mere wave in a sea of endless cruelty. Brutally violent, awe inspiringly athletic, coated in brain matter and arterial spray, Timo’s now cemented himself as possibly the most imaginative action director in the world. I hope he never stops making movies like this.
