Dare I say it's sort of like a modern day Frankenstein, the creator and their creation and the relationship they have. The combination of the cinephile references against the lighthearted but also horror-prone backdrop make this a one-in-a-million film.

I've seen this twice before and I STILL got jumpscared 😭
