Probably the film I associate most with watching film with my sister. 

Saw this one in the art house theater downtown decades later with my future husband. 

I love this one so much . 

Kurt Russell is v hot 

David lo pan getting hit with a truck is my fav representation of vehicular manslaughter besides madam web.

The effects on this are ROUGH but it’s miles better than Superman 3, which was dreadful to watch. 

I also appreciate the film for being short, quick subplot about the planet was cute. 

I mean it’s not the best film but I had fun so there’s that .

This film is phenomenal . The plot is grounded and paced well, and all of the characters have distinct personalities that keep them feeling unique . 

The action sequences are grounded in narrative and thus have weight to the story, and aren’t there just purely for spectacle. I also love that characters actions have real tangible effects, at one point during the film we see this come to life when one samurai in particular goes glory hunting and thus leaves…
