FTRTGlenn’s review published on Letterboxd:
A strong directorial debut from Zoe Kravitz, it’s filled with style, great performances, and a story that I enjoyed. It’s a tad disturbing, I guess because it feels so believable, but it’s effective at making you feel sick to your stomach. The reveal is a little predictable, but seeing it all unfold was wild.
Some music cues were a bit cringe inducing, but it’s all forgiven since I had a good time overall. Channing Tatum was doing his mf thing all movie, and I thought it was wild the parallels he shared with Mr. Beast or other rich people in general. Is that a red flag hmmmmmmm.
The trigger warning at the beginning though, It Ends With Us could NEVER bro. Huge for the movie for doing that, but is that kind of a spoiler? Maybe it could have benefitted a little more from not showing that.
But glad I saw it. Won’t forget it later this year, and will rewatch one day with pals probably. Good movie.
