I had the biggest lump in my throat the last 20 minutes and my whole car ride home….

The complexities of missed connections, heartbreak, and immigrant identity are expressed through subtle and reserved intimacy and profound silences that are felt. I felt some shades of the Before trilogy in this.

What makes this special is undoubtedly the core of Greta…

“I feel like a spectator in my own life. Like I’m playing a ing role in my own life.”

I knew I would love this movie the second I saw the trailer but I never anticipated how much it would stick with me after seeing it.

The Worst Person in The World is a masterful and beautiful character study of navigating early adulthood while still trying to find yourself through the ups, downs, mistakes, insecurities, and everything else in between. On…

the action is fun and well choreographed, but it's the quieter, more subdued, character-driven moments that truly stand out. it’s a nice change of pace for marvel. more grounded and…

Inventing Anna

wasted potential of what could have been a riveting series. far too long, inconsistent, and lacking clear focus. acting and script both subpar. disappointed because i wanted to like this, the focus on the journalist to unfold the story through her was a mistake and lackluster. at times hard to take seriously with very cheap looking editing and misplaced and nonsensical  needle drops. it falls short in several areas but the scenes between anna and todd (julia garner and arian moayed) have to be the highlights. great back and forth client-lawyer dynamic on display, both tense and entertaining.
