This movie is just pure euphoria. James Gunn’s writing and direction are brilliant, and with that comes great use of licensed music, unlike Suicide Squad (2016). The humor mostly lands, but that’s a very subjective thing. Performances are brilliant, especially from Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2. Also it’s shot really well, with beautiful colors. Overall it’s a brilliant masterpiece of a comic book material with enormous amount of heart and risks, that isn’t playing it safe.

Oppenheimer is one of the most intense and interesting movie going experiences I’ve ever had. Christopher Nolan does it again but this time he somehow overcome himself in numerous fields.
The Cinematography with Hoyte Van Hoytema at the helm is some of the most breathtaking I’ve seen. The visual storytelling and the use of low aperture and shaky backgrounds to enhance character’s (Especially Oppenheimer’s) emotions and responses to the external actions just…
