This is so ridiculous, but so inherently captivating and thrilling, very fine movie indeed

I mean this is fine, but I genuinely hate the writing for the Doctor here, Adelaide is definitely the best part about this, shame 10 acts VERY out of character for the doctor all throughout, this is why he’s my least favorite :p

This movie is just pure euphoria. James Gunn’s writing and direction are brilliant, and with that comes great use of licensed music, unlike Suicide Squad (2016). The humor mostly lands, but that’s a very subjective thing. Performances are brilliant, especially from Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2. Also it’s shot really well, with beautiful colors. Overall it’s a brilliant masterpiece of a comic book material with enormous amount of heart and risks, that isn’t playing it safe.
