“I love Letterboxd!” Zoë Kravitz enthuses at the sight of our stickered microphone. “I'm obsessed with it... It feels like being in a video store again.” The Blink Twice director was ready from the jump with her Four Faves, selecting a couple of ’90s classics and a gendered horror staple that her directorial debut references via Naomi Ackie’s character’s cropped pixie cut.

Ackie herself is drawn to a Julia Roberts rom-com, as well as a couple of musicals. Geena Davis also picks a musical, albeit an action-heavy one (hint: the main characters hook-step to ‘Naatu Naatu’). They’re not the only two cast in sync, as both Christian Slater and Simon Rex chose action-comedy Midnight Run.
