Ahmet'in en çarpıcı ilişkisi Hakan'la olan ilişkisidir. Aralarındaki gerilim belirsiz ama izleyiciye, Hakan'ın Ahmet üzerinde güç gösterisi yaptığı ve taciz ettiği hissini veriyor. Ahmet, birine ait olma arayışında sürekli savunmasız kalıyor. Hakan'ın davranışları da Ahmet'in bu arayışını daha da güçlendiriyor. Sonunda Hakan ortada yok, Ahmet'in bakışı boş ve bir şey arayan, ama bulamayan bir çocuğa dönüşüyor.

Filmin sonunda Ahmet'in ruhu daha da boşalmış. Kimse onu gerçekten görmüyor ya da duyuyor, sonunda sadece bir gölge kalıyor. Yurt, Ahmet'in değişimini ve onun sistemin, toplumun ve korkunun etkisiyle nasıl şekilsizleştiğini anlatan sakin ama etkileyici bir film.

watched this and my anxiety was through the roof, but I'm not sure what all the hype is about. the tension was almost too real, and it made me uncomfortable in a way, but that's what made it interesting. i get why some people like it, but for me, it just felt flat

Iris felt more real than any human in the movie. She was so sweet and full of emotions... that guy didn't even deserve a robot. Not the most groundbreaking story, but still a lovely watch.

Tom? Not romantic. Just someone who has beef with reality. He fell in love with the version of Summer he made up in his head, then got sad when she didn't follow the script.

Summer was written as a "free spirit" but she felt so empty throughout the film - like a placeholder for Tom's projections.

And then Autumn enters... and we what an actual person looks like. Genuine, funny, warm, and very much the main character of her own story.

In the end, this film isn't about love - it's about misplaced meaning.

And Autumn > Summer. No debate.
