Strange poem, strange painting, strange pictures, strange woman. Claire observes others through her camera, bored after her husband’s ing, living through dramas of random Korean work colleagues. The pacing of this film is quite interesting. Very slow yet not bothersome, exactly like the pacing of the inefficient conversations of two people speaking a different language than their native tongue in order to comprehend each other. There are long pauses, uncertainty about whether you’ve said the correct thing or understood something falsely, yet still getting a small awkward satisfaction after a successful exchange, making it all feel worth it.
