Watched for the Nextlander Watchcast.
Very interesting doc of a very interesting individual who does remind me a someone I knew during my teenage years who you could confuse for a twin even in some respects.
His stance on office politics somewhat mirrors my own, I just don't want to engage in the game. There's no value it to me other than to prop up some manager I couldn't care less about.

Kinda meh. Last ~20 minutes of the movie kinda took away from the overall plot. Would have been better to leave it a bit more mysterious.
Direction was OK, not bad for M. Night’s daughter. For the small cast, they got mostly good performances.
Story was a liiiiittle predictable, but still effective until that previously mentioned 20 minutes and then it just felt a little awkward after that.
Special effects were OK, I don’t have much else to say about it.

For an M. Night movie, didn’t have his usual twists. Pretty straightforward. Movie’s only 100 minutes long so at least it was paced OK. If it was longer than I would have had a problem. I’m aware it’s very different from the book but I haven’t read it so I can’t really compare.
Big Dave still is a solid actor and was great as Leonard. Wish he was my 2nd grade teacher. Everyone one else did pretty alright too but…
